Hello geoff,

Just wanted to know if you have the score to the solo you did in japan on Dec, 6 1983 at budokan. It´s a terrific solo, that has been overlooked. I saw asia on Dec 6 1992 at San antonio, texas ,at sneakers bar, and as usual you guys played great. If you post the solo, as you did with video killed the radio star, a lot of followers as myself will be delighted.

Thanks for all your great music over the years, good luck with the yes drama line up again.

Hey Geoff,
Just wanted to drop a line and say congrats on Phoenix and Omege, 2 cds that have not left my player much since I got them.
Watching the Fantasia dvd the other day, I must say there were several moments in your playing that I was surprised you were playing certain parts with your left hand. I guess I just assumed many of the solo parts were played right handed. Obviously you are capable either way. Still impressive playing always grabs my attention.
Thanks for all the great tunes over the years, with all incarnations of ASIA.

I know The Light Programme was on CD in 1996. It still may be.
What's this I hear about the Wetton Downes CD being reissued as Icon 4?

Dear Geoff,
We met a few years ago when you played the AURA tour w/John Payne in Oregon and Las Vegas and then in Seattle with the original four. I live in Vancouver BC and I made the drive three times all the way there to see you. You invited me backstage and I have pictures of us and we talked about a lot of stuff.
I would like to send you some pictures of the event to remind you. You will remember me when you see the pictures... and I will someday as I dont have them on the computer. I only have photographs.
The reason why I am writing you is to first off congratulate you on your OMEGA album. I really like it. The only thing I think that is missing from your songs is that signature trumpet or horn keyboard sounds that you used in the original albums... You used it in songs like, ONLY TIME WILL TELL, DONT CRY, the ending in CUTTING IT FINE, WITHOUT YOU and A FAR CRY You played the ending solo in A FAR CRY using that signature sound and I wish you extended that piece. I wish for your keyboard parts to be longer and a little more out front. Please, please, please, bring back that beautiful familiar signature trumpet/horn synth sound that makes the music of ASIA stand out. I also love to see ROGER DEAN exclusively doing the album covers that distinguishes ASIA from everyone else! Dont ever change that! love ASIA and I have been a fan of yours since your very first album!

If you ever visit Coquitlam, be sure to give me a shout!
God bless you,

Geoff,

I have followed your music all the way back to 1979, starting with Video Killed The Radio Star. It's amazing because I was staring in awe into the TV when MTV first flipped on the switch in 1981. That song and video were absolutely fitting for MTV's debut, because it would change how we perceive music. Of course, now MTV is nothing like it was then. Still, to watch you pound out the keyboard notes over 29 years later with the first, and best, lineup for Asia with Phoenix. When I heard that CD, I thought to myself, "The magic is still there!" I hope you guys are still touring and can come by the Louisville, KY area. I would love to see the magic in action once again.
